When to Visit
As applies to most Greek islands, the best time to visit is during summer, as that is when they actually come to life from their winter “hibernation”. However, Meganisi is extremely beautiful during spring, when its natural landscapes are blooming and flowers in all possible colours cover its hillsides and slopes. From mid-May to late June, as well as from mid-September to the end of October, things are very peaceful and quiet, with all the island’s beauties ready to be enjoyed with a very few people in sight.
