Apaggio

In a rather elegant setting and literally touching the sea, Apaggio restaurant, located on Ornos beach, has been serving Greece in a plate since 2013. It purposely keeps music at very low volume, so guests can dine listening to nothing but the magical sound of the sea. Pure and authentic Greek flavours, the freshest of fish and seafood and some very traditional local dishes are the key point here, with the produce that goes into the kitchen coming from all over Greece, from Mykonos and Naxos to Ikaria and Fournous and from Crete and Chalkida to Syros and Samos. Do not miss on the chance to sample the Mykonian ksinotyro (a local type of sour cheese) and the Kopanisti (a spicy local cheese spread), as well as the traditional fresh onion pie, a very popular local recipe with homemade phyllo (crust).
