Ibiza

The White Isle has it all

One of Europe’s top party destinations has so much more to offer than first meets the eye, or than what it is actually famous for. The White Isle is indisputably, and rightly, famed for its insane nightlife scene, as the biggest names in the DJ industry fly over every year to perform in its prestigious nightclubs, celebrity-frequented beach clubs and huge pool parties, but there is another side to this stunning island that will steal your heart away for good. Blissful beaches, glorious sunsets, picturesque small villages, amazing vineyards, off-the-beaten-track coves, lush pine forests, even hippie-styled markets, and an abundance of culture and history, are here to prove that Ibiza is an ideal choice for families, couples, and solo travellers alike, offering each one a different side of fun and pleasure.

When to visit

Unquestionably the high season here is from April to October, as in most Mediterranean holiday destinations. However, on this cosmopolitan island of the Balearics, each season has its own charm and beauty. During winter, and let’s place the winter season from November to February, you will get the coolest temperatures, that never fall lower than 15 degrees (!), and the most serene ambiance, giving you all the opportunities in the world to explore this blessed piece of land and enjoy its more local-coloured and peaceful side. Local food fairs, carnivals, and other national festivities will always give you something interesting to do, when not hiking, SUPing, or cycling. From March and on the season gradually opens, and the exotic beaches start to fill with happy travellers. Ibiza’s famous Medieval Fair is held in May, while this is the month when all the mega-clubs hail the summer season to come. In June Ibiza’s Gay Pride colours things up, while in July and August temperatures easily climb over 30 degrees and the 24/7 nightlife starts to peak in all its glory. This is the time to swim, party, and enjoy life to the fullest. September and October are still quite warm, and the seas are amazing, while the party scene is surely on, but in a more relaxed pace. The mega-clubs closing parties in October are quite a thing though, and every sworn clubber has an interesting story from those nights to share!

Why Ibiza

To begin so, why not? The stunning, marble-white beaches and the turquoise waters, the numerous fun water and land activities, the amazing food, the hippy markets, the picturesque small towns, the family-friendly resorts, the sophisticated vineyards, the world-famous nightlife, all embraced by a mild Mediterranean climate, well what is not to love? Here you can get it all, in one amazing “island package”: the playful beach life at Playa d’En Bossa, the hippy vibes at Playa Es Cana, the gourmet joints at Playa Eulalia and the sophisticated ambiance, and a fair share of culture and history, at the uber-cool Ibiza Town. Let us not even begin with the celebrity DJ line-ups!

Ibiza Experiences

Do we need to say that here some of the grandest clubs in the world are to be found, frequented on decks by names such as Black Coffee, or Nina Kravitz? No, you already know that. So, let’s talk about the rest; on the wonderous Ibiza you will go snorkelling, scuba diving and practice any kind of water sport in some of the best waters on the globe, while at the same time there is a huge array of land sports available, and yoga retreats are quite a thing. The art scene is thriving during the last decades with galleries, pop-up exhibitions and festivals all over the place. Have we mentioned the world-class dining scene and that here one will come across some of the most awarded and expensive restaurants in the world?
