Platis Gialos

Located just next to Psarou, Platis Gialos is a safe-choice beach for most types of crowds. It is quite a long bay with many sunbeds and umbrellas, and even more dining options, ranging from traditional tavernas to vibrant beach bars, while it offers very good beach service quality. Watersports tend to be quite the thing here, with all options open, from jet skiing to banana rides and from aqua bikes to wakeboard. Families with kids are really fond of this beautiful sandy beach, as it is usually sheltered from the strong summer winds, while the highly praised watersports’ club here offers their children something fun to do all day long, as they themselves enjoy their food and drinks on the comfort of their sunbeds. On the other hand, if at some point you feel the need to take off, here is the point of departure of the boat service that takes people from Platis Gialos to Paraga, Paradise, Super Paradise, Agrari, Elia and Kalo Livadi. During peak season, parking can turn out to be quite a problem. Branco and I Avli to Thodori are two of the best dining options at Platis Gialos.
