When to Visit
As applies to most Greek islands, Antiparos offers quite a long tourist season that begins around late April or early May and stretches all the way to late October. However, taking into consideration that Antiparos doesn’t have an airport and there are no direct ferry rides from Piraeus to this tiny island, as you must come here through a boat or ferry ride from Paros, and due to the fact that permanent residents are not that many, its summer season is not as extended as on other Cycladic islands. On the other hand, as many Greeks and foreigners (mostly people from France) have their holiday homes here, it never feels empty during warm months. Depending on your style, likes and budget, you can choose the period you would like to visit. May and June are surely the best, if looking to relax and enjoy the beauties of Antiparos somewhat more privately. July and especially August are the most popular months (as happens all over Greece), which means its tiny Chora, with the see-and-be-seen main pedestrian road and all the restaurants and bars, can rather crowded at some point, without that being a problem if you like vibrant nights out. However, during these months, dinner reservations are quite necessary, and hotel bookings must be made several months in advance. From early September and all the way to mid-October though things totally calm down again, and the weather is usually still warm enough to enjoy a perfect summer holiday.

Antiparos Experiences
Antiparos may be small, but it has it all and in quite an abundance. Water sports are very popular on the island with many beaches offering SUP, water bicycles, water-skiing and wake-board facilities, while fans can enjoy windsurfing and kitesurfing in Pounda beach, exactly between Paros and Antiparos. Scuba diving is also very hot in Paros and Antiparos, as the seabed has a lot to show for and there are some shipwrecks to be found and explored. Catching the sunset from Sifneiko beach or the Camping beach is a truly unique experience, while a visit to the Cave of Antiparos is an absolute must, as it is one of the most beautiful and historically significant caves in the world.
